venbolec: SADR/ALGERIA/VENEZUELA Algeria and Venezuela for the finishing of the decolonisation of the Western Sahara Algiers, 25/4/2007 (SPS) Algeria and Venezuela underlined on Wednesday in Algiers their attachment to the finishing of the decolonisation of the Western Sahara through the exercise by the Saharawi people of its right to self-determination, reported the Algerian Press Agency, APS. This attachment was affirmed during a meeting between the Secretary General of the Algerian Foreign Ministry, Ramtane Lamamra, and the Deputy-Minister of the Venezuelan Foreign Affairs Ministry, Reinaldo Josй Bolivar, the same source indicated. The two parties discussed the international and regional questions on the agenda, noting with "satisfaction" the convergence of analysis, approaches and actions between Algeria and Venezuela, especially regarding the subject of the settlement of conflicts in Africa. Mr. Bolivar is in a visit to Algiers within the framework of the 1st conference of the Venezuelan Ambassadors accredited in Africa organised by the Venezuelan Foreign Affairs Ministry. (SPS)
